"I stand on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Seagulls caw high above me, their shadows racing across the ground. The sun pierces through overcast clouds, forming rays of light, dancing ever so slowly over the rolling, crashing waves. Everything is peaceful."

Timeline B - April Plume:
"...I transform our landscape into a field of flowers. Stretching my hands upward, I intuitively pull the thread of the cosmos around me, bringing the sun up over the horizon. It warms my skin, that loving warmth that must be me, warming myself. Setting the sun, I cast the moon aglow over the field again, then back around, day then night, day then night, accelerating faster and faster. My eyes glimmer with starlight."

Presentbound:
"She stares into the neon light behind you, saying nothing, a look of defeat heavy on her face. You know that look. You understand her, you've felt that feeling tens, hundreds of times - not now, but in the present. What is there to possibly say to give her hope? What would you say to yourself? ... You think of nothing. You know some things can't be changed. So what is there to do?"
